An Outstanding Board Member was given their pin at Monday’s meeting for continuing education for their role as a school board member. Congrats and thank you to Holley Little.
Region 3 All Region Choir auditions were held virtually this year the week of November 9-14. Each student recorded their audition either at school or at home and submitted for judging. Judges met via Zoom to adjudicate the submissions on November 14. Benton had 52 students submit audition and 40 were selected to the Region 3 All Region Choir with 4 alternates. Benton Junior High School: Benton Junior High School will continue with Offsite Virtual Learning Instruction beginning tomorrow (November 17, 2020) due to COVID-19 Exposure. Students will return to in-classroom instruction on November 30th.
This decision comes after consultation with the AR Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the AR Department of Health.

During this Offsite Virtual Instruction time, you are still eligible for school meals. Please fill out this form if you would like meals during this time.
Meal pick up will be @ Ringgold, Thursday, October 8, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Drive thru the PK/Kindergarten drop off line and we will meet you at the curbside. All we need is your name and your child's name. You will receive Thursday's and Friday's meal all at once.

Thanks to a USDA waiver, Benton Schools is proud to announce FREE meals for all students. Starting Tuesday, September 7, all Benton students can receive a breakfast and a lunch every day, at no cost. Virtual students may also receive this same benefit by signing up for meal pick up.
This waiver is effective thru December 31, 2020. It is still very important to complete a free/reduced application.
