Benton High School: The Benton School District will make the following changes to school schedules in order to make up the 5 snow days missed:
Monday, February 19th (President's Day) and Friday, March 29 (Good Friday) will be regular school days. Friday, May 24th will be the last day of school.
Beginning Monday, February 5th through the end of the school year, the following changes to the BHS schedule will be in place:
The BHS school day will now end at 2:51pm instead of 2:46pm.
With late dismissals, the bus routes will be 10 minutes later in the afternoon.

BHS Parents: Today Sophomores and Juniors received information on courses that will be offered next year. They were shown a slide show in their STAT class which gave information regarding all of our elective classes on our campus, AP classes on our campus, and courses of study offered through Saline County Career and Technical Center. This presentation is available to students and/or parents to review on our website by clicking on the counselors' page. They also completed a list of Top 10 courses that they would be interested in taking next year. Please discuss your student’s selections with them. Students will complete practice sheets on Friday, February 9, 2024. Attention BHS parents: Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, February 8th, from 3:30pm-7:30pm. Stop by any time during these hours to speak with your student's teachers. #bhs #bhspanthers20232024
BHS Parents: CAPS Conferences will be held on March 11, 2024. On this day all 10th and 11th grade students will be required to attend during their conference time with a parent. If the parent and student do not attend the scheduled conference, the student will be marked absent for the day and will need to turn in a parent note. Over the next few weeks students will be working to create their class schedule for next year. We encourage you to have discussions with your student over the next few weeks regarding their needs and interests, which will help them in selecting courses for next year.

If you are not receiving the district's text messages and would like to, text "START" to 98900. To receive messages, even after opting in, you must be a contact for your student in e-school. That means the back-to-school paperwork you filled out at the beginning of the year must have your number listed as a contact for the student. If you have opted out of receiving messages from a different district, chances are we use the same software, and you have also opted out of our communication.
