Benton School District

As many of you know, we are currently building a brand new elementary school. While this is an exciting time for our district and our families, we all know that with growth, there is also change. We have hired RSP-Associates in Overland, KS to help us with rezoning our campuses for our new school and for future growth within our district. We want our families to be aware that with the rezoning, it will require that some students may be zoned to attend a different elementary school than they are currently enrolled. In order for us to properly staff the new campus and current campuses, it is expected that all students will attend their newly zoned school. While we don't have rezoning finalized to share at this time, we wanted our families to be aware that this is something that will be presented over the next couple of months. We will share maps and host a Q & A for our families once all information is available. We hope to host this event in April. Please be aware that with school choice, you are choosing the district your child attends, not the school. We will continue to be transparent and present more information as we have it available.
