Thanks to a USDA waiver, Benton Schools is proud to announce FREE meals for all students. Starting Tuesday, September 7, all Benton students can receive a breakfast and a lunch every day, at no cost. Virtual students may also receive this same benefit by signing up for meal pick up.
This waiver is effective thru December 31, 2020. It is still very important to complete a free/reduced application.

Hot Spot access points have been distributed to local churches and Big Red Stores. Students that need internet access can go to these locations with their school issued device, and automatically be connected to the hot spot.

We will hold a drive through textbook pick up tomorrow from 12-2 pm outside the cafeteria entrance for all virtual students who have not had a chance to obtain their class materials. Please be sure to stop by, if you are a virtual student in need of your textbooks.

These are the teacher lunch assignments. You will go to the lunch to which your 3rd Block teacher is assigned.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
Virtual students are welcome to attend school during the first 2 weeks in order to get textbooks and special instructions from their teachers.
All students (virtual and onsite) should join all fall google classrooms (including STAT) before 7:50 a.m. on Monday, August 24 in order to get specific instructions for the upcoming school year. Google classroom codes were distributed at registration. If a student did not pick up codes at registration, they can be located on the BHS website under the menu in documents.
All students (virtual and onsite) will be required to complete a Daily Attendance Check every day for each class.
All students should bring their Guideline and Procedures manual to school each day the first week of school to be used in STAT class.
Each student should come to school each day with your MacBook charged and a mask which must be worn properly.

BHS REGISTRATION 2020
Benton High School will hold registration for all students for the 2020-2021 school year on Monday and Tuesday, August 17 and 18 during the following blocks of time:
7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Students will be able to take care of the following items: Pay any pending fines
Purchase insurance for school-issued computer Purchase a parking pass
Deposit money in cafeteria account and pick up Free/Reduced Lunch Forms
Pick up schedule and HAC information
Pick up MacBook and accessories
Students should enter through the rotunda. Stations will be spaced appropriately throughout the building with students exiting out the cafeteria doors facing Border Street. Face coverings must be worn and students will be restricted to have only one parent/guardian with them in the building.

Graduation pictures are up at events.lifetouch.com. Go to "Find your Event". Type in the information. At top of page you will see two choices: Bentonville HS and Benton HS. Click on Benton HS. All pictures will be shown. A picture of what you will see prior to clicking on Benton HS has been attached.
