BMS Parent/Teacher conferences will be held this evening- Thursday, Feb. 2. Between 3:30-5:30, the building will be closed. Teachers will be calling parents during this time regarding concerns about grades and how we can best help your student. Doors will be open from 5:30-7:30 for parents, guardians, and students to visit with teachers regarding grades. You may also email teachers if you have any concerns. Benton Middle School will be holding Parent / Teacher conferences February 2 from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The format for Spring Conferences will be different from the Fall. We still want to provide as much access to teachers as possible while meeting the needs of all students and their families. In order to accomplish this, we will be utilizing various communication mediums in addition to face-to-face conferences. Did you know that September is HUNGER ACTION MONTH nationwide and is the beginning of the 2022 peanut butter drive? Each of our schools will be collecting jars of peanut butter throughout the month. The school that collects the most peanut butter will receive a trophy and bragging rights for the year! All peanut butter collected goes directly to a Saline County food pantry.

Chromebook turn in will be on Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 25. Your student will need to turn in their carrying case, charger, and Chromebook on these two days. If your student is unable to turn in their Chromebook on those days please contact the office for arrangements.

Dear Parents, We want to thank you for all of your help preparing your student for the ACT Aspire test we completed today. The students gave great effort and we are very proud of them. As you are aware the weather is getting warmer and clothing choices for students are changing as well. We would like to remind everyone of the current dress code policy set forth by the Benton School Board. * Dresses, skirts, shirts, and blouses cannot expose the midriff, back, chest, or cleavage. Low-cut shirts are not allowed. * All tops must be 3 fingers wide across the shoulder. * Shorts must have a 5-inch inseam. The entire dress code may be found on pages 23 and 24 in the 2021-2022 Benton Student Handbook.
