A vaccine clinic for 1st and 2nd doses, along with boosters is this week! 11/16/21, 4:30-6:30pm at Ringgold Elementary. 11/17/21, 4-6pm at Angie Grant Elementary. This is for ages 5years-adult.

2nd grade completed a Balloons Over Broadway STEM Activity. Mrs. Tanner, our district Technology Integration Specialist, read about Tony Sarg, a puppeteer who created balloons for the Macy's Day parades in the 1920's. They became puppeteer engineers designing their OWN balloons!

Mrs. Tanner worked with Mrs. Hendrix's class on a fun STEM activity. They learned about bridges before becoming little engineers! Designing a bridge for the Halloween people to cross was so much fun!

After 2 weeks of learning about what science is and what scientists do, Josh Hendricks, a parent of one of her students, zoomed with Mrs. Loyd’s class to talk about his job as an engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers. The kids loved having a guest speaker and learning!

These Caldwell students are the recipients of the Avid Reader Award for this week! They love to read, and help their friends find great books to read too.

Parents: If you drop your student off in the mornings in the front of the building and there is a line of traffic, please make sure to pull all the way to the right along the fence before entering the parking lot. We want to keep the roadway as clear as possible for other drivers. This will decrease the number of vehicles crossing the double yellow line and endangering others. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!

Caldwell Parents, It was a great first day of this 2021-2022 school year! We will all sleep well tonight! Don't forget to send a water bottle with you student each day. The water fountains will remain off, but we have bottle filling stations around the school where students can refill throughout the day. We want to make sure our kiddos stay hydrated!
