Reminder for MVMS Families: CAPS conferences will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026. Students will not have regular classes that day, but they are required to attend CAPS with a parent/guardian during their scheduled time. During your scheduled conference, families will receive ATLAS scores, scheduling information, and helpful testing resources. Sixth graders brought The Phantom Tollbooth to life in ELA! 🎭📚 Students stepped into the roles of Milo and his friends, acting out scenes from the story while exploring the power of words, numbers, and imagination. 📝 ATLAS Testing Dates Are Approaching!📝 We want every Panther to have the opportunity to show what they’ve learned this year. Parents, please help us by making sure your student is present, on time, and ready to do their best on testing days. If possible, please try to schedule or move appointments outside of testing times so students don’t miss important testing sessions. 🎶 MVMS Choir Shines at CPA 🎶 Congratulations to the MVMS choirs on their outstanding performances at CPA last week! Select Guys and the 7th Grade Mass Choir earned Excellent ratings, while Select Ladies earned a Superior rating. Even more impressive, all three choirs earned Superior ratings in sight reading. 📚Tools for Learning in Action!📚 Our students are bringing literature to life through creative, hands-on projects! 5th grade is diving into Sign of the Beaver, while 6th and 7th graders are exploring Call of the Wild and powerful Holocaust literature. Students selected meaningful scenes from their reading and transformed them into detailed shoebox dioramas. 🎨📖 By recreating key moments from the text, they’re analyzing setting, theme, and character perspective in a way that goes beyond the page.
