Bright Futures has teamed up with the BHS Basketball Team for a Hoodie Drive! You can donate hoodies during the month of October. Drop off locations include the High School Rotunda, Crossfit Testament, and Summerwood Sports. Thank you for helping us take care of our fellow panthers.

One of our Panthers needs our help. This is Samantha. She is a 10 year student at Caldwell Elementary. Samantha’s leukemia has recently relapsed. Her best chance for a cure is a bone marrow or stem cell transplant. It only take a few minutes and just a swab of the cheek to see if you could be a LIFESAVING match for Samantha or others in need. BJH Parents and Guardians: Here is the information for semester exams. Please note: Students who finish their exams for the day may come to the office following a testing period and follow normal check-out procedures. Parents must physically come in to check students out like normal. Do not leave campus without following proper procedures or you will be truant from school. Students who do not have a semester exam until later in the day may check in for their exam. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled testing time.

The BPS Secondary Library Media Specialists will be hosting a Homecoming Tale-Gate on October 7, 2022 during the BHS Football Homecoming game. BPS students in grades K-12 can register to win free books, play games for prizes, and receive information about services provided in our school libraries, as well as the Saline County Library! A booth will be set up behind the home bleachers from 6:00 PM until half-time. We hope to see you there! Books made possible by the DESE SOAR Grant. Prizes donated by Big Red and Sonic.

Did you know that September is HUNGER ACTION MONTH nationwide and is the beginning of the 2022 peanut butter drive? Each of our schools will be collecting jars of peanut butter throughout the month. The school that collects the most peanut butter will receive a trophy and bragging rights for the year! All peanut butter collected goes directly to a Saline County food pantry.
