The students are becoming little animal researchers as they learn how to classify animals and discover fascinating facts about the animal kingdom.
Today, they learned all about amphibians, the life cycle of a frog, and compared these animals to others.

Our kindergarteners practiced compound words in a fun and hands-on way!
Each student had a picture representing one part of a compound word, and they worked together to find their match and put the two words together to create a new word.
They loved working with their friends, solving the puzzle, and discovering how two little words can join together to make one BIG new word! (Pop+corn=popcorn!)

Sometimes the best way to get those brains working is to get those bodies moving, too.

Mr. Buck’s class has been busy collecting data and turning it into bar graphs! These mathematicians surveyed their classmates to find out their favorite specials class and favorite season, then used the results to create and analyze their own graphs.
And these kiddos absolutely ROCKED IT! 🙌🐾 We love seeing our Panthers use real-world data to make math meaningful and fun!

This week, our Panthers are celebrating International Dot Day in PE with a fun game called Dot Shot! 🎯
Students work together in teams to collect as many dots as possible by making shots into the big bucket. They can choose a closer distance to build confidence and experience success—or challenge themselves by shooting from farther away! 🏀💪
But Dot Shot is about much more than making baskets! Our students are learning the importance of teamwork, encouragement, and good sportsmanship. Fist bumps, high fives, and cheers for teammates make every successful shot worth celebrating! 🙌❤️

Unit 1 Math Review!
Fourth graders have worked HARD to get ready for their Unit 1 test! Students tackled several IXL Group Jams while reviewing factors, multiples, addition & subtraction, and place value.
Mrs. Davis & Mrs. Mitchem are so proud of their teamwork, effort, and determination! Our students finished Unit 1 STRONG on Friday!
