⚡️🔋 Mr. Murdock’s class is powering up a brand-new unit on electricity!
Our 4th grade scientists kicked things off with some hands-on learning by creating flashlights of their very own.
Along the way, they explored how batteries provide energy, how conductors help electricity move, and what it takes to complete a circuit.
There’s nothing better than learning science by doing science!
Our young scientists are already lighting up the classroom with curiosity, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement. 💡

Mrs. Lee’s 3rd graders are wrapping up their Animal Classification Unit with a fun and creative project! 🐯🦋🐢🦅
Each student chose an animal and created an informational poster showcasing what they’ve learned about its characteristics, classification, habitat, and more!
We love seeing our Panthers take what they’ve learned and turn it into something creative! Great job, Mrs. Lee’s class! ❤️🐾

🧠🫀🦴 We’ve been learning all about the AMAZING human body! 🫁💪
Mrs. Loyd’s first graders have been busy discovering just how incredible our bodies are!
They learned about 5 different body systems, how many bones and muscles make up our bodies, and what each system does to help keep us healthy and working properly.
They learned all about how our bodies digest food, why our different organs are important, and what we can do every day to take care of our bodies and live a healthy life.
To show what they learned, each student completed their very own Human Body Booklet, answering questions about the lessons and new information they learned each day.
They are so excited to complete a culminating activity next week where they will get to make their own skeletons using q-tips and glue, make a healthy plate featuring all the food groups, play a fun game of Operation, and more!
Way to go, first grade!

The students are becoming little animal researchers as they learn how to classify animals and discover fascinating facts about the animal kingdom.
Today, they learned all about amphibians, the life cycle of a frog, and compared these animals to others.
We are so proud of our curious learners and all the amazing things they are discovering! 🐸💚

Each student had a picture representing one part of a compound word, and they worked together to find their match and put the two words together to create a new word.
They loved working with their friends, solving the puzzle, and discovering how two little words can join together to make one BIG new word! (Pop+corn=popcorn!)

Mr. Buck’s class has been busy collecting data and turning it into bar graphs! These mathematicians surveyed their classmates to find out their favorite specials class and favorite season, then used the results to create and analyze their own graphs.
And these kiddos absolutely ROCKED IT! 🙌🐾 We love seeing our Panthers use real-world data to make math meaningful and fun!
