Parents, Guardians, and Students,

First, I want to thank everyone for their efforts in continuing the educational process.  Everyone has been so great in making a difficult situation work for the best interest of all.  Your patience, kindness, and willingness to do whatever it takes has been inspirational.  This next week, all administrators, teachers, staff, and students will be on Spring Break.   AMI instruction will start again on March 30.  Enjoy your break!  Below are some guidelines on how we will be operating during the time period between March 30 and April 17 or longer if necessary.

  1.  Student passwords have been extended for another 90 days so students do not need to worry about current school passwords expiring.
  2. BMS and the district Technology Department will be signing out Chrome Books for temporary use to any student that needs a device at home to be able to better access AMI lessons and instruction. Pick up times will be Tuesday, March 31 from 7:30 to 11:00.  More information will be posted on the BMS and district web site as well as district social media.  Note that students will still need internet access.
  3. Lessons will continue to be delivered online, but if access is an issue, you may contact the school office at 501-776-5740 or come by from 8:30 am to 11:00 am on Wednesdays to pick up hard copies or drop off completed assignments.  Lessons can also be scanned and emailed/texted if necessary.
  4. Grades will be taken on assignments, and teachers will follow the same protocol for posting grades on HAC as is normally used.
  5. A video of bad jokes for the week should be posted each Friday on the website.  Some traditions need to survive.
