IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL CLOSURES:
As directed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, Benton Public Schools will close for classes starting Friday March 13, 2020 and will re-open Monday March 30, 2020.
BPS will be using Alternate Method of Instruction (AMI) days.
Students will be given more information from their teachers about assignments.
Superintendent Dr. Mike Skelton said in response to this announcement, “BPS will continue to take directives from the Governor and the Arkansas Department of Health. We strive to make the best decisions in regards to safety and well-being of our staff and students, and by closing schools, Governor Hutchinson and BPS are doing just that.”
