BENTON, Ark. — Benton School District is proud to announce that Head Baseball Coach Mark Balisterri has been named the 2026 5A Central Coach of the Year.
The honor comes after an outstanding season in which Coach Balisterri led the Panthers to a conference championship and an impressive record in 5A Central play. His leadership, commitment to student-athletes, and dedication to excellence have helped build one of the premier baseball programs in the state.
Under Coach Balisterri's guidance, the Panthers demonstrated exceptional teamwork, perseverance, and competitive success throughout the season. This recognition reflects not only the team's accomplishments on the field but also the positive culture and high expectations he instills in the program each day.
