Our campuses were buzzing with creativity this season as students designed ornaments for the statewide Arkansas Celebrates America250 project. Each school submitted entries, and a committee carefully reviewed them using a rubric to select three ornaments—one from each level—to represent Benton School District at the Arkansas State Capitol.
We are proud to announce our 2025 district selections:
Elementary: Rylee Wesselhoft, 1st Grade – Mountain View Elementary
Middle School/Junior High: Ava Crawford, 7th Grade – Mountain View Middle School
High School: Akira Fallad, 10th Grade – Benton High School
All ornaments from across Arkansas are now on display in the Old Supreme Court Room at the State Capitol through mid-January. Every submitted ornament—statewide—is also featured in the new digital gallery at:
