New “Bell to Bell, No Cell” Act Now in Effect for Arkansas Schools
As part of Arkansas Act 122 of 2025, all public and open-enrollment charter schools in the state — including Benton School District — are now required to enforce the “Bell to Bell, No Cell Act.”
This law prohibits students from using cell phones, smartwatches, and other Bluetooth-capable devices during the school day. Students must power off personal devices before entering the building and store them in backpacks until the end-of-day bell.
Exceptions may be made in cases of medical needs or emergencies.
This statewide initiative is designed to support student focus, reduce distractions, and promote a more engaging learning environment. We appreciate your support in helping us implement this new policy effectively across our campuses.
