We are less than one month away from welcoming our students back to Mountain View Elementary, and we couldn't be more excited!
The halls will soon be filled with smiling faces, eager learners, and the energy that makes MVES such a special place. Our staff has been working hard behind the scenes to prepare for an amazing 2026–2027 school year, and we can't wait to see everyone again!
Here are a few important dates to remember:
Grades 1–4
• August 6 (by 4:00 p.m.) – Teacher welcome emails and classroom assignments
• August 10 (3:00–6:00 p.m.) – Open House (drop in)
• August 12 – First day of school
Kindergarten
• August 10 – Kindergarten Assessments (by appointment)
• August 12 (4:30–6:00 p.m.) – Kindergarten Open House (drop in)
• Classroom assignments will be shared when families arrive for Open House.
• August 13 – First day for Kindergarten Girls
• August 14 – First day for Kindergarten Boys
• August 17 – All Kindergarten students attend on a regular schedule
